Hi everyone, new a class owner here

Quick question, my car comes with no parktronic or reverse camera (as I have audio 20). Dealership says they can fix front and back parking sensors for £550. I am going for the rear sensors as I feel they are more important so am pretty set on these (£300).

Now my question is, is it pretty easy for mercedes dealership to install the sensors? I previously had a clk with parktronic so know what the sensors look like but will it look any different? Basically, will it look factory fitted as it did on my clk?

Also, will i just get the beeps or will I also get the bars inside the car showing from yellow to red (depending on how close I get?).

Also, just out of interest, does anyone know the price of retrofit of mirror pack being at showroom?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! On the rest I have no clue , not sure if anyone here has fitted the sensors. Why not call the dealer to asl them? I hope you get the bars as well , I use that and never listen to the sound :p
thanks. I will speak to the dealer about it yes. I was also hoping someone here had experience with it just to put my mind at ease

Think there is a thread about retro fitting them, I'm pretty sure they are not the same as the factory fit units and are only audible only

Not sure what you were told about Audio20 compatibility but you can and I do have reverse camera and park assist on mine

I'm not sure about retro fitting so as JB said, best to check out the other thread.

But for stock, you'll get fhe beeps and bars. The beeps don't help you a whole deal and I find the bars more helpful as it tells you how close you are to the objects/sides before you scratch some paint :p
